What Is Consciousness?

Consciousness is the instinctive, natural, and fundamental ability to be aware of oneself and the environment. It is the result of attention, perception, and interpretation, which guide our decisions and actions for survival. It operates in a mechanical way, driven by biological incentives and mental programming shaped by social environments.

What Does It Mean to Elevate Consciousness?

Raising our level of consciousness—or awakening—goes beyond merely meeting basic instinctual needs or satisfying the ego’s desires. It is a choice.
