Sustainable Development Goals

Global Ethics

There is an excess of discourse in churches, politicians, academics, NGOs, and others who would like this world to be better. Revisiting John F. Kennedy’s famous phrase from his inaugural address as President of the United States on January 20, 1961:

"Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."

Today, this phrase can be reframed as:

"Ask not what your country and global governance can do for you, ask what you can do for the planet and life."

You only need to review and study the global action map that was identified for the first time in human civilization history. It is a clear, forceful, and practical route of actions we must take to overcome threats and meet challenges on all fronts necessary to evolve toward a sustainable, peaceful civilization of wellbeing. These are 17 interconnected goals with 169 specific targets and 232 indicators to measure progress.

Above any ideology or social custom, doing good is the purpose of human beings. There is a universal consensus that defines the values, principles, and criteria of the Supreme Good. It was possible to unify contexts of cultural differences; both the ideals of the most powerful religions and those not so well-known, and the reasoning of government systems whether left or right-wing; as well as the constitutions, laws, and norms of countries. The ethics embodied in the United Nations Charter and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights guide the analysis and actions of individuals, communities, and countries.

The United Nations Organization is an effort of civilization to achieve responsible governance connected with life and humanity. Of course, there is criticism, especially from uninformed people and conspiracy theorists. The best approach is to investigate, read the background and history of why. This way, you can understand that the best path to overcome challenges on the planet depends on the will and determination of planetary governance to fulfill its promises.

Sustainable Development Goals

They also established the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which were unanimously approved by the Member States of the United Nations on September 25, 2015, during the Sustainable Development Summit in New York.

We are a conscious company that promotes participation in life-defending programs. For SABIA, these goals are the guidance in everything that society requires to be more just, sustainable, and to develop a civilization of wellbeing. We are agents of change toward the UN’s 2030 plans and sustainability. Again, at the Summit of the Future on September 22, 2024, world leaders adopted the Pact for the Future and its annexes: the Global Digital Compact and the Declaration on Future Generations. https://www.un.org/en/summit-of-the-future/pact-for-the-future
Remember:

"Ask not what your country and global governance can do for you, ask what you can do for the planet and life."

Life is Sabia!
